News from Orlando & The 2006 EXIT Realty Convention
EXIT Realty International’s 2006 Convention is in Orlando, FL Oct. 17-21. The Gaylord Palms is the host resort/hotel and was voted Florida's #1 Resort Hotel in 2006! Last year's convention at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, TX (DAllas/Ft. Worth) was a huge success. Orlando and 2006 have some BIG shoes to fill. EXIT Associates and guests have been awaiting this week all year. Excitement, Enthusiasm, and Anticipation surround the week. All attending know this will be a fantastic week!

The Broker/Owner of Exit Realty & a Charlotte native, John knows Charlotte! Byers' family history is steeped in the real estate industry. In 2005, he stepped into his role as President of the Charlotte Realtor Assoc. (CRRA) and Carolina MLS (CMLS), a position his father held decades ago. John is currently the Regional VP of the Executive Committee of the NC Assoc. of Realtors. A graduate of UNC- Chapel Hill (BSBA 1980), Byers was a banker in international & commercial real estate finance with BofA’s predecessor prior to engaging a real estate career in 1993. Byers regularly works in relocation & makes it his mission to acclimate newcomers and residents alike. He takes pride in his hometown and it shows. He loves training as well and agents in his office benefit greatly from his insight and experience. Byers' accomplishments in the real estate industry include ranking in the top 1% of agents in the country while previously with Prudential, CRRA's Presidents Award, & he won Pru’s Pinnacle Award (for a Top-Ten office nationally) 4 years while BIC at its SouthPark office. Whether selling property or training, Byers has the pulse of Charlotte's real estate at his fingertips!
