EXIT Realty and Orlando, here we come...

12noon, October 16, 2006:

Travel Day for many folks going to the 2006 EXIT Realty International Convention. The entire Byers Family (John, Angie, Welby, and Mary Charles) loaded the Honda Odyssey and pulled out at 12 noon today. We have been packing for days. About an 8 hour trip from Charlotte, NC and EXIT Realty South. Our children are the big beneficiaries of EXIT's Orlando convention. Although they will not be participating in the EXIT events, meeting Angie's family in Orlando will keep them all busy this week at Disney, Discovery Cove, Sea World, Universal, and Cirque du Soleil. Once we unload at the Gaylord Palms tomorrow morning, I'm really wondering if/when we will even see the kids anymore all week.

We drive to Florida numerous times each year to see Angie's family, but since "EXIT" is the focus of this trip, I am already noticing things along the way with a new perspective..... "EXIT" here (Arby's), "EXIT" to Charleston, SC (I-77 @ I-26 in Columbia, SC, "EXIT" here, etc. Angie's driving now, but traffic's heavy and I need to help her focus on the road. More later!
